Reporting to our Chief People Officer, this role will see you leading the P&C Business Partnering team and providing strategic and operational HR support to the business. This role focuses on aligning P&C initiatives with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness, and delivering people solutions that support Avant's strategic goals.Key accountabilities:Lead and mentor a team of P&C Business Partners, ensuring consistency and excellence in Human Resources service delivery;Drive initiatives around talent management, workforce planning, succession planning and performance management;Be the trusted advisor and partner to the leaders of our organisation, providing expert advice across all aspects of the employee lifecycle;Be the lead in strategic people planning relating to your business units including engaging and retaining our people and improving employee experience in our new normal;Provide advice for employee relations matters;Support our leaders in embedding our values, performance and rewards program;Partner with our People & Culture colleagues to deliver on a range of initiatives including DEI, policy writing, WHS, HRIS implementation and workforce planning.To be successful in this role you will have:Proven experience in a senior HR/P&C Business Partner or leadership role, preferably in a professional services environment;Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field;Extensive experience in organizational development, employee relations and HR strategy;Commercially orientated with a strategic mindset, high emotional intelligence and a bias to delivering outcomes for your clients;Excellent Leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities;Strong communication and relationship building skills, with an ability to challenge and influence across all levels;High level of proficiency in both written and oral communication;A passion for people and driving initiatives that make a difference;Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources or equivalent.If you are passionate about people and looking for a role that will see you make a significant impact on an organisation, this role may be perfect for you!Why work at Avant?At Avant, our people are the centre of everything we do for our members.
