In this newly created senior position of Head of People and Culture, you will lead, inspire and foster a supportive and vibrant workplace.
My client, Centacare (New England, North West), is a not-for-profit organisation providing a broad range of community services including cultural programs, counselling and psychological support, family mediation, and support for people with disabilities and those living with mental illness.
The Role
You will lead the creation and implementation of strategies to elevate the organisation into a highly effective community services provider, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and inclusivity. Your leadership will focus on achieving excellence by enhancing staff engagement, professional development, and well-being.
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and acting as a strategic Business Partner to the executive team, your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's future. Leveraging analytical insights, you will promote informed decision-making, ensure HR compliance, and enhance operational efficiency. You will also champion culturally sensitive practices to foster meaningful engagement with diverse communities, including First Nations communities.
About You
A dynamic and people-focused leader, you have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organisation. With formal qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field, you are recognised as a natural collaborator with strong analytical skills and a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset.
Motivated by a commitment to nurturing talent within a modern HR framework, you build a vibrant, inclusive, and empowered workforce. Your successes encompass leading cultural transformations, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion, and elevating employee engagement and retention.
Leveraging your expertise in HR compliance, risk management, and best practices in HR technology, data analytics, and employee development, you use insights to make decisions that advance both organisational objectives and employee growth.
