The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of early years students and suitable pastoral care programs.
In addition, the person who fills this position will be recognised as an exemplary teaching practitioner and demonstrate excellence in their own classroom performance.
This Junior School role has three significant responsibilities:
Leading the teaching staff in the development and delivery of a coherent pastoral care programLeading the teaching team in the implementation of the principles of Visible WellbeingTo be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes: Suitable tertiary qualifications (a postgraduate qualification in a field related to pastoral care or similar would be an advantage).Registered to teach in South Australia or be eligible to obtain registration.Have an understanding of and commitment to Christian education.Have the desire and skills to participate in the College's extra-curricular program.Have the interpersonal skills to quickly achieve trust and respect from the teaching team.Be able to respond positively to the expectations of a modern school.Be able to set high standards for student behaviour and teacher performance.Have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing.Have knowledge of and a commitment to the principles of equal opportunity and work safety.At Trinity College, we highly value teachers who have a passion for, and experience in, how to engage students in their learning, take the time to understand their world and show that you care.

This position attracts a POR 3 ($18,475) allowance.
