We are currently seeking a strategic, motivated, and experienced individual to lead our Paraplanning and Advice team.About the RoleAs the Head of Paraplanning and Advice, you will lead a dedicated team of paraplanners, both internal and outsourced. This role requires a blend of strategic oversight, technical financial planning expertise, and people leadership. You'll work closely with the CEO, Compliance Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure we meet compliance requirements and continuously enhance our service to clients. This is a pivotal role in ensuring our reputation for excellence in client care and financial advice.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Lead and mentor the Paraplanning team, conducting bi-annual reviews and ongoing performance management.Process Improvement: Review and optimise paraplanning processes to enhance efficiency and compliance. Be a change agent within the business leading more efficient delivery of advice.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with advisers, compliance teams, and other departments to ensure cohesive, top-quality service.Compliance and Documentation: Oversee the preparation of compliant, high-quality Statements of Advice (SoAs) and advice documents.Client Strategy Development: Utilise in-depth technical knowledge to support the development of robust financial strategies.Project Management: Manage various projects, both planned and ad hoc, to meet business goals and client needs.Balancing high-volume workload with priority deadlines.Aligning adviser expectations with achievable SoA delivery outcomes.Staying informed of legislative and industry changes to ensure compliance and maintain cutting-edge practices.Desired Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in Financial Planning or equivalent.At least 5 years of experience in financial planning, with a proven record in training, compliance, and strategic planning.High proficiency in Xplan and financial modelling.Desired Skills & CompetenciesExpertise in superannuation, wealth creation, retirement planning, social security, tax strategies, estate planning, and risk analysis.Strong computer literacy and adaptability to new technology.Exceptional communication, organisational, and time management skills.Why Join Us?Halpin Wealth offers an engaging, supportive workplace where your expertise and ideas can make a real impact.
