We're ready to relocate an experienced Head of Paid Media to Australia to lead and drive this agency's Paid Media service.
THE ROLE Reporting to the Digital Director, as Head of Paid Media you'll be responsible for the financial (including P&L of service), strategic, technical, operational and people management of the Paid Media dept., inheriting an immediate team of 2 Paid Media Specialists and 2-3 freelancers to manage and develop. Drawing on your excellent leadership attributes you'll enhance client relationships, create efficiencies for the department's operation, drive profitability, and serve as the technical authority for the stream.
Steering the technical delivery of services & client management with confidence, you'll develop digital strategies focused on growing client businesses using a range of channels working together in coherent strategies. Your passion for staying abreast of changes in the market will mean you enjoy leveraging this agency's dynamic environment to create new opportunities. You'll be competent in selling to existing clients where appropriate too. You'll appreciate the high standard the agency requires of services and consistently ensure operations comply with all applicable laws.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL ESSENTIAL: At least 7 years of platform experience executing high-performing Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn campaigns, with at least 4 of those years in an agency environment. Valid certification in Google Ads (to date). At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role or similar position. Experience in managing a full portfolio of clients (of at least 5 accounts) across platforms, with 2+ enterprise clients (clients with yearly revenue of more than AUD $10M /GBP £5M). Experience in designing and executing paid strategies. Needs to be a self-starter who strives to learn, rolls up your sleeves to actively pursue problems, and is motivated to achieve outcomes with hands-on execution and capable management. Eager to deliver business results and strives to be accountable and provide visibility to the broader team around outcome. DESIRED: 2+ years of platform experience in Pinterest, Tiktok and Programmatic (specifically media buying). Experience working in remote teams and/or freelancing. LOCATION Long before covid, this team challenged industry norms by offering a 100% remote working environment. Ideally, as Head of Paid Media you will join the majority of the team in Australia and utilise the company relocation support from where you reside to Australia. It is possible we will consider you being outside of Australia, for example in Asia but you MUST live within GMT +8 to GMT+12 timezone to coincide with working hours of the core team.
