In this role, you will shape the future of the University by influencing every aspect of the employee experience.
Establishing and implementing the University's People Strategy will be a key responsibility.
Leading a team of Organisational Development Specialists, you will enhance institutional culture, employee engagement, leadership capability, diversity, inclusion, equity, change management, strategic workforce planning, and talent management.
Additionally, you will support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement and employment plans, prioritising student success through Indigenous knowledge and excellence.This role offers an extraordinary opportunity to shape the future of the University of Tasmania at a transformative moment for both the institution and the higher education sector.What's RequiredDemonstrated track record of achieving cultural change through leading, developing, implementing, and monitoring organisational development strategies within a complex environment.Extensive senior/executive level experience leading and delivering strategic organisational development strategies, projects and programs.Significant senior leadership competence, with experience in leading both HR and cross-functional teams in specialist and project-based roles.Comprehensive skills in coaching and motivating others at all levels.
Advanced decision-making skills that balance achieving outcomes with a people-centric approach.Exceptional internal communication and presentation skills (written and verbal), developed through successful management of stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.Well-developed data analysis and interpretation capability, with demonstrated conceptual, analytical thinking and research skills.Broad experience in delivering innovative and contemporary engagement initiatives through programs and change management.Qualifications and LicensesTertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience.How to Apply?If this role is of interest, we look forward to hearing from you.
