The Role

As part of this role, you will ensure the seamless alignment of all operational functions to surpass customer expectations. You will have the privilege of identifying and implementing the most effective strategies for optimizing warehouse, inventory, and purchasing operations. Key responsibilities include: Working closely and strategically with the leadership team to drive a continuous improvement agenda by taking a leadership role in the development of operationsOversee the day to day activity in purchasing, inventory and warehousing operationsProvide support, guidance, and direction to the team to ensure the daily work tasks are performed within operational guidelines and in a safe and efficient mannerEvaluate and improve operational procedures to align with organisational objectivesEvaluate overall performance through data analysis and metrics interpretationOversee hiring and ongoing development of all department personnelMaintain and drive a culture of safety awareness and complianceEffective communication with team members, customers, and other stakeholdersEnsure warehouses and storage areas are maintained and in excellent conditionWhat we are looking for: Experience at senior level operations managementHighly motivated and proactive individual who demonstrates a strong drive for results and assumes accountability for actionsExceptional time management skills, enabling efficient handling of multiple tasksHigh level communication skills and the ability to network and negotiate effectively with individuals and groups, within the company and outsideComprehensive knowledge and understanding of warehousing and inventory management, equipped with insights to optimize operations and drive productivityWhat is in it for you?
