General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management) Full time Join the allcare team and lead the day to day operations of our successful team! As the key link between our dynamic team and Executive Leadership, the Head of Operations - allcare will lead the management of day-to-day operations of our successful business, overseeing program and stakeholder management, financial and people outcomes, quality and health and safety.
This is a people-centred role, which is instrumental in enhancing outcomes for our clients, as you drive the team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
We are looking for a strong leader who can bring operational and strategic plans to life, guiding the team towards a more commercial focus on delivering exceptional care, and who has a finger on the pulse of the operations ensuring that the team and its outcomes align with our business goals.
About the role Role responsibilities include:
Lead and develop operational teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.Model the allcare Values to ensure positive outcomes for our clients and uphold contractual requirements.Work cross-functionally with support services to influence business practices.Oversee the delivery of client services teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance with corporate policies, processes, and statutory regulations.Align operations with the business plan and accreditation standards to deliver exceptional service.Cultivate and nurture positive relationships with key stakeholders and partners.Lead allcare teams in achieving key outcomes for our clients and performance milestones that advance the business.Manage programs within approved budgets, achieving financial KPIs through effective cost management and revenue generation strategies.Maintain a consistent standard of quality, exceeding regulatory and funding agency standards.Drive continuous quality improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Act as a senior escalation point for managing and preventing risks and issues in service management.Ensure adherence to policies and procedures to safeguard the interests of our clients and the organisation.Be the face of allcare, interacting with clients and stakeholders to enhance brand reputation.Support service delivery, provide assistance to Support Workers, and adeptly handle and de-escalate any issues.There may be occasions when you'll be hands-on in delivering services to clients, stepping in during absences or when faced with complex challenges.Resolve complex issues, manage risks, and proactively maintain and build relationships.What are we looking for The successful candidate will have:
Tertiary qualifications in management, business or a similar discipline.Minimum of five years experience in a leadership position working across a broad operational remit (sectoral experience is not essential).Understanding of aged care issues and governance principles (desirable but not essential).Exceptional leadership and people management skills.Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, and partnership development.Strong business acumen and understanding of drivers which impact operational performance.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem solve and analyse options on the run.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, community and teams.Willingness to build knowledge of industry and adapt quickly to changing sector landscape.Our Recruitment Process: If you believe you fit this criteria, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role:

Candidates will also hold a valid Drivers Licence and access to a fully insured vehicle, have received three doses of COVID-19 vaccination, be willing to obtain an annual flu vaccination, be willing to undertake a National Police History check and have valid Right to Work status in Australia.
