About the role Endeavour College is seeking to appoint a fulltime permanent Head of Middle School. A member of the Leadership team, the Head of Middle School is a significant leadership role at the College who will work closely with other members of the team, to support the College realise its Mission in line with the strategic direction of the College. They will determine, develop and implement data driven decisions in consultation with the Principal to achieve excellence in educational programs and operations, and ensure the highest quality of support, care, and learning is provided for all students at the College, particularly those within the Middle School. We envision an experienced and effective leader with a true passion for education, demonstrated success in developing and implementing curriculum and pastoral care programs relevant to Middle School students, and skilled in building supportive relationships with students, families and staff to join our team. You will be committed to excellence in Christian co-education and the principles of Lutheran education, and have a strong understanding of and experience in the application of Restorative Practices. The successful applicant will have: Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Education, etc.) with post graduate studies in Educational Leadership (highly desirable) Current SA Teacher Registration & Working With Children Check (WWCC) Demonstrated organisational and educational leadership with a record of success in achieving agreed goals in collaboration with others Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop effective professional relationships, and engage positively with people from a wide range of backgrounds Demonstrated success developing and implementing curriculum & pastoral care programs to Middle School students Demonstrated experience and ability to work independently and as a leader monitoring student wellbeing and academic progress Significant ability to provide a strong cultural example for others and maintain expected standards of culture across the College Ability and desire to actively support and lead the values and ethos of a Christian school.
