The Opportunity Join our team as Head of Marketing.

This is a new role created due to company growth.
You will lead our Marketing team and be responsible for building a world-class digital marketing operation with global reach for our B2B engineered products business.

The Role You will lead our Marketing team with the mission to build a world-class digital marketing operation with global reach.
You will be responsible for creating a high-performance digital lead generation machine that creates the deal pipeline required for our sales teams.
You will develop our brand into the dominant global leader in our market niche.
This will be a highly targeted strategy to suit our niche global audience and B2B engineered products.
This is a high-growth environment with the budget required to deliver the plan.

Key responsibilities include:
- Lead & manage team
- Marketing strategy & planning
- Brand positioning (company, division, product)
- Content, website & social
- Funnel design, segmentation & audience targeting
- Digital advertising (Linkedin, Google, Youtube, etc)
- Digital campaigns & nurture (incl sales integration)
- Marketing tech stack (incl CRM optimisation)
- Performance analysis & optimisation
- Budget management & optimisation
- Product marketing & sales materials/tools
- Employer brand incl content & nurture for talent pool program
- Marketing integration of bolt-on acquisitions
A major transformation is required to take our marketing to the next level.
Our brand positioning must evolve from local Australian supplier to the global leader in our niche market.
Over 40% of our sales are international and we plan to increase this significantly.
Part of our strategy is to build out a global sales presence direct to end-user over the next 5 years.
We will achieve this via both organic growth and bolt-on acquisitions.
We require a world-class digital marketing operation to support this global growth strategy.

The key initiatives will likely be something like this in the first 12-18 months:
- Build A-player team
- Marketing strategy (year 1/2/3, integrated with company's Strategic Plan)
- Brand positioning (Beaver, Slurryflex, Abrasiguard, Defender, SlurryIQ)
- New website (multi-language, multi-country, dynamic content to unique visitor)
- Update product marketing & sales collateral (to match new brand positioning)
- Build content creation engine (strong video focus)
- Build funnels (digital ads, email, remarketing, content streams, sales integration, etc)
- Content localisation program (translation, local content origination, etc)
- Replicate funnels for global reach (by region, language)
- Review and upgrade marketing tech stack
Our preferred location for this role is our Perth Head Office.
We will consider alternate arrangements including regular travel to Perth (min 1wk/mth) for an exceptional candidate.
You will need to build out your team (likely 6-8 in 12 months, 15-20 in medium-term), with an optimised mix of internal team, dedicated offshore support, and specialist agency / contractor project resources.
We run the full Hubspot Pro stack including Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service.

About You We are looking for a Marketing Leader who wants the autonomy to build a high-performance digital marketing machine with global reach.
You will be competitive, focused, and driven by winning.
You will have a high-performance mindset with a strong focus on driving revenue.
You will be analytical and use logic and data to drive decision-making.
You will be highly accountable, hit deadlines, and beat targets.
You will be 100% digital, with strong tech capability, and a high need for control (ie, build an A-player internal team, only use external agency where necessary).
You will be ROI-focused, always looking to 'test and measure', try lots of things, and double-down on what works to maximise every dollar.

Product or industry experience is not required.
Don't let our engineered products scare you, you'll have the support of our inhouse experts for all the technical stuff.
We are looking for an A-player who knows how to build a high-performance digital marketing operation.

Experience required includes:
· 10+ years relevant experience
· Previously setup or grown high-performance digital marketing team (not 'first rodeo')
· Track record of delivering outstanding revenue outcomes through digital marketing
· Ideally – experience with niche B2B audiences and highly segmented targeting
· Ideally – experience developing high-performing B2B marketing funnels
· Ideally – experience with digital marketing localisation (by language, region)
The Business Beaver is a privately owned, entrepreneurial company led by Josh Beaver.
Its main business specialises in the design and manufacture of mineral process technology for the mining industry.
It currently has a team of 110 and is growing at a rate of 40 per year.
It has two facilities: Perth Head Office (approx.
4200m2 office/workshop) and Brisbane Plant (approx.
5100m2 office/workshop, relocating soon to 16,000m2 facility).

The business is investing heavily in technology to create a fully digital workflow from spatial data to design to manufacturing to remote monitoring.
Our SlurryIQ optimisation technology is the first step of turning our products into 'smart' hardware that delivers exceptional value to clients using technology including 3D point cloud, AI-based design optimisation, wear prediction using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), embedded sensors with IIOT cloud, digital twin visualisation, and predictive maintenance.
