Head of Marketing & Communincations
Full-time PermanentDetails: The Cultural Facilities Corporation (CFC) is on the lookout for an innovative and passionate Head of Marketing and Communications to join our dynamic arts organisation.
In this pivotal role, you will report to the Director, Canberra Theatre Centre (CTC) and collaborate closely with senior management teams to achieve strategic objectives.
You will extend your influence through strategic data driven advice, that drives audience development and retention, ensuring that our marketing efforts are effective and far-reaching.
You'll also work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including media, producers, tourism agencies, and government departments, to meet strategic objectives.
You will provide strategic leadership of CFC-wide marketing and communications, aligning with our Strategic Plan.
You'll lead the charge in developing and implementing marketing strategies, and conducting research to best inform decisions and maximise effectiveness of the marketing budget.
Building and maintaining relationships within the local and national performing arts industry will be crucial to your success.
You'll be at the forefront of adopting new systems, technologies, and online environments to keep us ahead of the curve.
As we embark on a major redevelopment of our theatre complex, your leadership will be instrumental in transforming our operations and repositioning the centre within the Australian performing arts landscape.
To thrive in this role, you'll need high-level marketing skills, strengths in strategic communications, and extensive knowledge of the national arts industry.
Your leadership and management abilities will shine as you plan, allocate resources, and motivate your team to achieve excellence.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills are a must, along with the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and problem-solving prowess.
Eligibility/Other requirements: Experience working in ACT Government would be welcome but not essential.
