As a wholly member-centric organisation, dedication to our members is embedded in our values, mission, people and culture.About the roleThis role operates within the Doctors' Health Fund division and sits on the Doctors' Health Fund senior leadership team. It is a hands-on role with a focus on growth via performance marketing. It is accountable for defining the strategic direction, scope, and success metrics for our acquisition and digital marketing strategies, with overall responsibility for its implementation and prioritisation of initiatives.Max term contract duration: December 2024 - February 2026Key challenges:Generate and maintain a consistent level of high-quality leads to achieve ambitious annual growth targets.Ensure all acquisition activities have an integrated approach and are in line with overall growth strategy.Continuous focus on improvement, building marketing and digital capabilities as the business grows in a highly competitive PHI environment.Maintaining competitive edge amongst the crowded private health insurance industry.Positioning Doctors' Health Fund as the insurer of choice for doctors and the medical community.Supporting a specialist team in a dynamic and fast paced environment.Working across multiple projects and initiatives by effectively managing the team's workflow.Key accountabilities:Lead the strategic direction of go to market strategies and tactical execution plans for all current and future products to build market share and achieve profitability KPIs.Oversee the partnership strategy and implementation.Prepare and manage the Doctors' Health Fund marketing budget, regularly reporting on performance against target, assessing effectiveness of plans and continually refining campaigns and tactics to ensure we achieve return on investment.Provide leadership and representation of all marketing related matters to the Doctors' Health Fund senior leadership team and wider group marketing teams.Manage marketing relationships with corporate partners and maximise opportunities to promote Doctors' Health Fund to respective membership bases.Work pro-actively with the sales team to share insights on lead volumes, conversion rates, sales targets as well as marketing requirements for upcoming events and conferences.Identify opportunities to innovate how Doctors' Health Fund communicates with its prospective members and differentiate our offering from our competitors.Lead and oversee the shared creative and digital services to support the various needs of the wider business.Providing leadership, direction, performance feedback and coaching to 4 direct reports.To be successful you will have:10+ years successful track record in marketing at a senior level.Demonstrated successful track record in acquisition marketing with experience in performance media strategies (essential).Proven success in delivering growth-focused marketing campaigns (essential).Experience working with senior c-suite executive managers (preferred).Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced marketing team.Experience in health insurance or financial services sector (preferred).Experience in directing, managing and mentoring a team (preferred).Strategic planning, organisational / prioritisation skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines.Ability to analyse and problem solve.Excellent interpersonal skills.
