Within this team is our Leisure Marketing area, which is accountable for driving awareness, engagement, and activation amongst existing and potential RACV Members and customers across four portfolios – Travel & Experiences (including our Resorts portfolio), RACV Club, Conferences and Events, and Member Benefits. About the Opportunity Reporting to the General Manager Brand & Marketing, the Head of Leisure Marketing leads the Leisure Marketing team and is an integral part of the Marketing Operations team as well as being the leading business partner for the Leisure business unit. The Head of Leisure Marketing is also part of the Leisure Leadership Team. Join us at a key time of growth You will be accountable for developing and delivering the strategic marketing plan across the Leisure portfolio (including Member Benefits), including proposition development, paid and owned media strategy, local area marketing support and activity, communication program development, measurement and optimisation. You will have extensive stakeholder management experience with the skills and capabilities to navigate through the organisation. You are a Leisure, Tourism or Hospitality marketing expert with industry contacts. In this role you will: Lead the development and delivery of the Leisure component of the strategic Brand & Marketing plan, to support the achievement of business plan targets for Leisure, and also across the broader enterprise. Champion the development and be accountable for the delivery of a robust marketing strategy across the Leisure portfolio, including Member Benefits. Develop, optimise and refine (as necessary) the values-based propositions across this portfolio to ensure benchmarks / targets are continually met and challenged. Actively contribute to the development of business strategy and plans working closely with the Leisure leadership team. Liaise, negotiate and influence senior managers in the development and delivery of business and marketing plans. Ensure correct and timely input of requirements into broader Marketing teams to support the strategy of the business. Role model leadership behaviours and coaching and be accountable for individual development and performance management of the team. Own and be accountable for respective portfolio marketing budget and plan outcomes pursuant to this marketing investment. Continually champion efficiencies through active planning and optimisation. Oversee the Post Implementation Review process and champion / sponsor identified actions and key learnings. Feed key insights into and support shaping of reporting and performance outputs from Planning & Performance team. Engage and manage key media, creative agency partners and destination partners in order to deliver the work program. Who we're looking for and what you'll bring 10 + years strategic marketing experience in business to consumer discipline with significant travel and/or Hospitality and Retail sector experience. Experience within a member-based organisation or marketing leadership of a tier-based engagement or loyalty program will be well regarded. Proven ability to develop marketing strategy, which governs multiple streams of delivery. Extensive strategic marketing experience, including a proven quantitative ability. Proven experience in leading high performing teams in dynamic environments and delivering positive business outcomes. Strong presentation, communication and written skills. Commercial and financial acumen. Experienced people leader, who has guided development of individuals at varying levels of experience. Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills. Collaborative and strong team player. Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills and good application of all other Microsoft Office packages.
