We have a flourishing portfolio of early-stage investments and invest in wild ideas from truly great founders and teams.About the RoleThe Head of Investor Relations is responsible for the growth of our capital raising and investor network activities across Australia, as well as defining and executing on investor relations programs that expand Sprint's overall brand and presence in the VC ecosystem. This position leads and is accountable for inbound capital for our venture funds, investor relationships and alignment with overall fund objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and lead the capital raising activities for Sprint's funds against target and timing requirements.Identify, negotiate and launch investor partnership opportunities across various disciplines that materially scale the success of our funds.Leverage your deep connections and network to identify and build partnerships to gain investment from all levels of investors, including family offices, planners, wholesale/sophisticated investors and institutional investors.Continuously engage the network of new and existing Sprint investor partners through events and marketing.Collaborate with the Sprint team to define business development, co-marketing, and other strategic initiatives to grow Sprint's funds.Define, track, and report performance of investor inbound capital flows and partnership success.Stay abreast of VC market trends and the competitor landscape to shape and improve our fundraising activities and program.Required Skills and Experience:Deep connections and networks with potential investors and partners.Total work experience of 7+ years in relevant roles, investor capital raising, business development, and/or investor relations and partnerships.Business development experience at a fund, start-up and/or on a corporate business development team focused on capital raising is highly preferred.Operate with minimal direction and high expectations.Strong investor management and interpersonal skills.Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to build, test, and operationalise new investor attraction programs with conviction.Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort with slides, presentations, and executive presentations.Someone who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role, where they can make their mark and build their personal and professional brand.Someone that is comfortable being accountable to KPIs or key business and performance metrics.Ability and willingness to travel as required by the role.Must be able to work in Australia.We ProvideWork/life balance: flexible hours including Freestyle Friday and work from home days.Professional development: we give you a budget to pursue new knowledge.Weekends are for switching off: no emails, slack, or phone calls.Family always comes first: generous parental leave.Birthday celebrations: a day off on your special day.Technology: a laptop and phone allowance are included.SalaryThis is a full-time role with the salary negotiable and based on experience.
