You'll be reporting directly to the GM who will rely on you to lead a tight-knit HR team of 5. Your new team is long-tenured, highly capable, and ready to back you up. You'll need to bring systems, structure, and plenty of personality to the table. The HR function here has had a major perception overhaul, so your job? Keep that momentum going!
Lead and inspire your HR team (2 HR Coordinators, 1 HR Officer, and 2 HR Administrators)
Develop HR strategies that balance systems with a human touch—yep, they are all about treating people like actual humans
Handle complex stakeholder management, while keeping things engaging and fun.
Dive into projects that will really make a difference, like rolling out leadership programs, spearheading a cultural turnaround, breaking down barriers, and tackling the real reasons women aren't climbing the ladder in mining.
Keep the culture shift moving forward—retention is already on the rise, now it's about making sure that continues.
ABOUT YOU
Ideally, you have proven experience in an HR Manager role within the mining industry, but we are open to anyone who knows their way around industrial relations. What's crucial is that you're full of ideas, have an innovative approach to HR, and have a passion for people. This isn't just about processes; it's about bringing life to your team and the whole site!
