Head Of Household

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Household to join our small team.
This part-time/fulltime role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the household and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hospitality are maintained.
We are open Monday to Friday all year excluding public holidays.
We have occasional evening events and close between Christmas and late January.
What you'll be doingSupervise and coordinate the work of the front of house and housekeeping team to ensure a high level of service is maintained and all areas are cleaned to a high standard.Manage staff rosters to optimise efficiency and service levels are maintained.Manage the inventory of the pantry and ensure adequate stock levels.Contribute to cost management.Liaise with the Office staff and the Kitchen team to ensure a coordinated approach to daily activities.Train and develop the housekeeping team, providing guidance on best practices and quality standards.Participate in the development and running of events.What we're looking forStrong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high service levels and standards of cleanliness and presentation.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with members, guests, and other departments.Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work well under pressure and respond to changing priorities.What we offerAbout usWe are a long-established ladies' social club in the CBD of Hobart in Tasmania.
