As we scale, we need a strategic and results-driven Head of Growth to focus on customer acquisition and conversion, while refining our brand positioning and guiding our marketing efforts.
Position Overview The Head of Growth will be responsible for driving Uluu's customer acquisition and conversion strategy, with a strong focus on turning prospects into long-term partners.
The role involves not only overseeing sales, but also marketing functions, supporting our Comms Lead with shaping Uluu as a customer-focused brand.
You'll work to ensure our go-to-market strategy is compelling and effective, bringing Uluu's sustainable solutions to the forefront of key markets.
Key Responsibilities Customer Conversion Focus: Develop and execute a customer acquisition and conversion strategy to turn leads into long-term partners.
Lead efforts to identify, target, and close deals with key customers and agile/smaller Australian brands.Oversee Marketing: Provide strategic direction in refining Uluu's brand messaging to resonate strongly with customers.
Ensure that marketing and communication efforts are aligned with sales goals.Sales Leadership: Develop and manage a sales pipeline, including outreach, relationship building, and closing deals.
Identify new market opportunities and work to convert interest into committed partnerships.Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with potential customers, partners, and influencers in the sustainable packaging and fashion industries to drive conversions.Integrated Growth Campaigns: Design and implement campaigns that integrate marketing and sales efforts to drive customer engagement and conversion.
Collaborate closely with the Comms Lead to enhance brand visibility while ensuring a sales-driven approach.Brand Development: Help shape and build a more customer-focused brand that communicates Uluu's value proposition clearly and effectively in the marketplace.
Align the brand strategy with the needs and concerns of potential customers, particularly in the sustainable packaging and fashion sectors.Data-Driven Insights: Utilize customer data and analytics to understand conversion patterns, optimize marketing efforts, and refine the sales process.
Report regularly on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer acquisition and conversion.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (R&D, Production, Product development) to align sales and marketing efforts with Uluu's production capabilities and product innovations.Experience and skills Proven experience (7+ years) in a growth-focused leadership role with an emphasis on customer acquisition and sales, preferably in a startup or fast-growing business.Demonstrated success in converting leads into long-term customers, particularly in a B2B context.Experience managing sales and marketing teams, with the ability to ensure marketing efforts support sales goals.Strong understanding of B2B marketing and sales processes, especially in sustainability, packaging, fashion, textiles or materials industries.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance and adjust strategies accordingly.Passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment.Familiarity with digital marketing and sales tools (e.g., CRM systems, analytics platforms).What We Offer The opportunity to be a key player in a fast-growing, purpose-driven company that's creating a better future through sustainable innovation.Competitive salary and equity package.The chance to shape the future of Uluu's customer acquisition efforts and help establish a strong, customer-focused brand.We're looking for people with passion, grit and integrity.
