I'm working with a rapidly growing organization in the Aerospace industry.
They are looking for a Head of Flight Operations.This pivotal role involves setting up and leading a test flight operations team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing advanced UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) testing and delivery programs.
The ideal candidate will have a good background in UAS or UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) platforms, with experience in military or aviation sectors being highly desirable.The role is open to candidates with 3-8 years of relevant experience in the required areas.
Senior level candidates are also welcome to apply.Job Title: Head of Flight OperationsLocation: DarwinFor interstate candidates, one thing to note is that this role requires full relocation to Darwin.Key Responsibilities:Establish and lead a test flight operations team.Collaborate closely with CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) to ensure regulatory compliance.Develop and execute a comprehensive flight testing program.Grow expertise in the testing and delivery of advanced UAS.Manage and expand a team of operators and technicians.Create and implement standard operating safety systems and protocols.Oversee licensing and certification processes.Travel to customer sites for delivery and integration of UAS platforms.Qualifications:Experience with UAS or UAV platforms.Strong background in military or aviation sectors is highly desirable.Proven track record in setting up and managing flight operations.In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Ability to travel as required for customer deliveries and integrations.Please reach out to for more info#J-18808-Ljbffr
