Full timeDue to our ongoing growth, we seek to appoint a skilled and motivated Head of Finance Manager based at our Melbourne Office.We are seeking a candidate with astute attention to detail when overseeing, managing and maintaining records.The Role:As the Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting. You will manage the finance team, enhance financial processes, and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive our business forward.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting:

Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly management reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections, ensuring alignment with Bidvest timelines.Team Leadership:

Lead and manage the finance team (Finance Manager, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Contracts Admin) through integration processes, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication.Financial Growth & Efficiency:

Continuously improve financial processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth. Develop and implement strategies for financial growth.Business Analytics:

Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools to enhance financial analytics and decision-making capabilities.Internal Controls:

Monitor and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Budgeting & Forecasting:

Manage the budgeting process, providing key financial insights and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.Risk Management:

Identify, evaluate, and manage financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate them.Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, providing financial leadership and ensuring financial transparency.Audit Liaison:

Liaise with PwC for the annual audit, ensuring compliance and accurate financial reporting.Ad-hoc Tasks:

Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the company, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in meeting evolving business needs.Cultural Leadership:

Foster a customer-focused, commercially driven team culture, instilling accountability and continuous improvement.Safety & Values Leadership:

Lead by example in maintaining the company's safety culture and core values, integrating these principles into financial practices and decision-making.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.7+ years of progressive finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Experience in the Property Services Industry is highly desirable.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for finance and leadership, we want to hear from you!
