Burnie Brae is passionate about helping our clients and members live independently while promoting community connection and inclusion each day.About the RoleReporting to the CEO, the Head of Finance will take full ownership of the day-to-day financial operations while contributing to the strategic direction of Burnie Brae.Key Responsibilities will include:Lead and mentor a team of three, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and fostering a collaborative work environment.Compile and analyse financial data to produce accurate and timely management accounts, supporting strategic decision-making.Deliver comprehensive financial reports to managers and the board, offering insights and recommendations to drive business performance.Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.Create and maintain dynamic reports and dashboards, enhancing data visibility and accessibility.Oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, to ensure financial stability and efficiency.About YouTo excel in this role, you'll need to be tertiary qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience and CPA qualified or in the process of obtaining it.
Your expertise with various software systems, especially in integrating them with financial systems, will set you apart.
Experience managing a small team is desirable but not essential; excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence are also key.CultureBurnie Brae is for everyone.
