The Head of Finance will play a critical role in shaping the organisation's financial future, contributing to its strategic growth and working closely with senior stakeholders.About the Role:The Head of Finance will take overall responsibility for delivering efficient, compliant, and responsive finance and reporting functions. This key leadership role will provide a vital link between business operations, development, risk management, and the Board.Key Responsibilities:Lead the Accounting, Corporate Finance, Reporting, Commercial, and Enterprise Risk functions, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency;Oversee annual budgets, 3-Year Corporate Plan, periodic forecasts, and capital management;Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including consolidated financials and variance analysis;Manage treasury and capital reporting, working closely with the VP of Treasury & Corporate Finance;Oversee taxation matters and ensure global compliance across multiple regions;Develop and execute a strategic funding plan, optimising capital and cash management;Lead commercial analysis to support decision-making and drive value across the business;Provide financial modelling and support for business growth initiatives and strategic funding;Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering commercial acumen throughout the organisation.Skills & Experience:CA/CPA qualified with a degree in accounting, business, or a related discipline;Minimum 10 years of finance experience, including 5 years leading a team;Proven expertise in forex, derivatives, and trading (USD expertise highly desirable);Strong knowledge of treasury management, commercial analysis, and financial modelling;Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting, and process improvement through automation;Ability to build and lead a high-performing finance function while mentoring and developing others.This role offers a clear and defined pathway to the CFO position within 12 months.
