This is a key leadership role, responsible for developing and implementing project management best practices, governance frameworks, and standards to drive consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness in project execution.About the RoleAs the Head of Enterprise PMO at NSW Land Registry, you will lead and oversee the EPMO and ensure the successful implementation of strategic programs of work throughout the organisation. You will hold the following core responsibilities:Implement a strategic EPMO approach with clear criteria for project selection, prioritisation, resource allocation, and financial management, ensuring this approach aligns with the organisational values and vision.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, mentoring, and development to ensure that team members hone their skills and deliver projects to an exceptional standard.Build and manage strong connections with Senior Leadership, Executives, and Board Members to understand business objectives and ensure the project portfolio aligns.Establish and implement project governance frameworks, methodologies, and artefacts, improving efficiency, consistency, and compliance to quality standards.Provide regular and comprehensive project updates, reports, and recommendations to the steering committee and executive leadership in order to aid decision making and mitigate portfolio risk.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:Demonstrated experience in project & program management and in developing Project Management Offices from a low maturity.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in strategic planning, portfolio management, and resourcing allocation.Outcome-oriented leadership skills with an ability to influence outcomes, motivate project and business stakeholders towards action, and a drive to jump into delivery as needed.Tertiary education in relevant fields such as business administration, project management, or information technology with industry certifications in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile will be well regarded.To be considered for this exciting opportunity within the NSW Land Registry Services, please apply to this job advertisement with your most up to date CV.
