Rosella Park School (P-12 State Special School) are seeking applications for a Head of Department (Curriculum) to join their supportive school community on a full-time temporary basis, from 08 July 2024 until 13 December 2024unless otherwise determined. This person will have a strong curriculum and pedagogical knowledge along with well-developed strategic thinking and analytical skills to contribute to our school improvement agenda and to developproductive positive relationships between students, staff and the wider school community.

About the Role: As the Head of Department (Curriculum) you will:
Lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiativesParticipate in delivering the vision of State Schools DivisionDevelop the quality of teaching and learningNurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.Responsibilities include:
Lead the implementation of curriculum provisions and related whole school programs to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.Lead the implementation of whole school approach to pedagogy.Embed socially just practices in daily school life.Set high standards for student and staff performance.Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
