This is an active role that will be responsible for supporting the execution of corporate development activities, ensuring investments are performing in alignment with business case and supporting growth strategies and portfolio optimisation.Develop and execute strategies to optimise Squadron's capital structure, ensuring efficient capital allocation and funding.Oversee raising debt or equity, including negotiating terms, structuring transactions, and maintaining relationships with investors and lenders.Act as a primary point of contact for banks and investors, analysts, and stakeholders.Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations.Oversee financial models and forecasts to support capital markets decisions and strategic initiatives.Ensure compliance with policies related to capital markets activities.Build and lead a high-performing capital markets team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development.Negotiate and execute legal documentation with respect to investment activities including capital raisings and project finance.About You15+ years' experience in a similar capital markets role at a corporate or related role in investment banking, project finance or similar.Demonstrated experience in capital raising and structuring.Experience in commercial negotiations and legal documentation.Demonstrated strategic and analytic thinking capability.Demonstrated experience in originating, analysing, and recommending investments.Deep understanding of renewable energy, infrastructure, and related areas.Strong financial modelling capabilities.In addition to a competitive remuneration package combined with attractive benefits, employees have the opportunity to access training and career development, and workplace flexibility.
