About the role

As the Head of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and expanding our market presence. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and overseeing the entire outbound sales function. You'll work closely with the executive team to shape the company's expansion strategy, build relationships with key stakeholders, and over time hire and lead a high-performing outbound sales team.

Duties Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business development strategies that align with company goals, focusing on revenue growth and market expansion.New Business Opportunities: Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, market research, and networking.Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, clients, and industry leaders to enhance brand presence and create mutually beneficial opportunities.Sales & Negotiations: Lead high-level negotiations with key clients and partners, ensuring mutually advantageous agreements.Team Leadership & Collaboration: Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive success.Market Intelligence: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market needs to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.Skills and Experience Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, ideally within the merchandise industry highly desirable.Strong business development skills.Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of securing high-value partnerships.Strategic mindset with a results-oriented approach.About the company
