You will be responsible for driving growth andbusiness strategy across Asia-Pacific region (APAC).You will be accountable for leading andmaintaining oversight of all current and upcoming bids across all our sectorsand aligning business development (BD) activities to Palladium's global plan.Working closely with global and regional leaders, this key role will support clientswith relevant knowledge, unparalleled technical expertise and an impact-focusedprecision to win strategically important projects. We pride ourselves on giving you the freedom, resources,and guidance to chart a fulfilling career!Reporting Lines:This role will report to the Managing Partner, APAC.PrimaryRoles and Responsibilities:Lead the development of Palladium's long-term strategy for business development and growth in APACOversee the development and communication of market analysis and research insights that could inform the realisation of APAC's strategic growth targetsOversee business development initiatives within APAC to ensure priority bids are managed through structured capture plans that align with APAC's strategyIdentify and influence potential business opportunities over the mid to long-term and oversee the development of compelling value propositions for all of APAC's bidsCollaborate with key stakeholders from Europe, Middle East & Africa regions (EMEA) and the Americas and contribute to their opportunities to pursue opportunities within APACProvide strategic advice and mentoring on business development strategy and Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT) engagement to portfolio leaders and senior leaders within PalladiumOversee the commercial aspects of bid development to ensure a consistent and sustainable approach for the business which meets the needs of both the client and APAC's business revenue targetsBuild, nurture and maintain broad and deep networks and long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials/ministers, community and business leaders, donor representatives, bilateral donor agenciesPalladium Team Leaders, Palladium Regional Business Partners (RBPs), Executive Officers, Managing Directors, Directors, and technical expertsFormulate partnerships and collaborations with organizations and networks for strategic growth including representing Palladium to governments, donors, partners, and other stakeholders, through thought leadership at international meetings, ministry-level events, technical working groups and internal technical teamsLiaise and coordinate as required with other external Palladium partners, networks and GISI operating companies within the regionSolve problems and make decisions in complex and potentially politically sensitive or volatile situations, where an understanding of decision repercussions is anticipated and possible risks mitigatedRole model the Palladium behavioural capabilities in conjunction with our Guiding PrinciplesA post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent level of experienceA deep understanding of the economic, social and political context of Asia-Pacific (APAC), including familiarity with developing country contexts gained through significant overseas experienceExcellent organisational, strategic thinking and planning, and project management skillsConnection to a broad and relevant network of professionals, and strong networking and presentation skillsExcellent business development and stakeholder management skillsExcellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skillsA proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholdersFlexibility to travel to various locations throughout the Asia-Pacific (APAC) regionDemonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, particularly in a multi-cultural contextWhy choose Palladium?If you are lookingfor an opportunity that will allow you to create a positive impact in the internationalcommunity development space, then this is the place for you.
