Tech Bridge Recruitment is partnered with a globally renowned company at the forefront of creating and delivering innovative, highly customised engineering solutions for a diverse range of engineering applications across the world. With offices worldwide, we are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager based (ideally) in Adelaide, to work with clients throughout Australia/Oceania, Asia and Middle East regions.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be highly autonomous and accountable for identifying and developing combustion technology business opportunities. You will develop beneficial networks and business relationships with customers, suppliers and partners in this sector that lead to a sustainable and growing business. Additionally, you will be driven to maintain and grow a position of 'best in practice' within mineral pyro-processing and iron ore pellet kiln projects through the promotion of Burners, Valve Trains, Burner Management Systems, Fuel Delivery conversions and Clay Calciners.
Keys to your success will be your ability to maintain an intimate and up-to-date knowledge of all upcoming projects and relevant technology applications, identify new market opportunities and determine appropriate strategies for gaining market share. Working closely with the engineering team, you will prepare technical proposals to bid/pitch for and win projects with a high degree of certainty and then manage the clients' expectations from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities and Attributes: Develop constructive and mutually beneficial long-term relationships with clients, suppliers, associates and potential partners Oversee the design, development, and delivery of highly customised and unique engineering solutions Strong financial/commercial acumen including timely report writing (includes P&L and monthly Board reports) Collaborate with management and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure project objectives are met and communicated with the client Implement sound project management principles to drive successful project outcomes Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the team Detailed sales pipeline and CRM management Flexibility and willingness to travel as/when required (national and international) Qualifications: Proven technical Business Development and Project Management experience Extensive sales management experience (of capital equipment) Well established Minerals Processing networks High-level decision-making, influencing and negotiation skills Ideally a Bachelor's Engineering degree in Mechanical, Process or Electrical Engineering Salary and Benefits:
