Drive strategic and operational change initiatives.The role and team:Lead the assurance over the control environment for the risks within the area of expertise.Provide meaningful insights to the board and management regarding the control environment for the risks within the area of expertise.Provide timely feedback and coaching to colleagues to promote a performance and development culture.Collaborate program manage the portfolio of concurrent audits within resource and time budgets, including portfolio sequencing to achieve a smooth delivery profile, and active participation in Head of Delivery Risk Forums.Contribute to audit's leadership and strategic direction.Coach, train and mentor audit managers and staff to delivery technology aligned audits.Ensure the portfolio of issues raised by Internal Audit are verified within SLA. Ensure the portfolio of issues raised by Internal Audit have a median resolution timeline within target.Proactively form effective ongoing working relationships with business contacts to facilitate planning and delivery of audits.Coordinate development and maintenance of the portfolio's audit annual plan within Audit Universe and Compliance coverage requirements. Contribute to audit's leadership and strategic direction.What you'll bring:Exceptional understanding of application development, databases, operating systems, networking, cloud computing and other key technology infrastructure componentsExperience in developing and monitoring technology risk assessments through interaction with and analysis of assigned business units.Technology subject matter expert for assigned Business Units and continually monitor trends and developments in the auditing profession, technology, and banking industry.Proficiency in auditing methodologies and frameworks specific to technology, such as COBIT, NIST.Advanced understanding of banking operations, related technology, associated risks, technology risk – AI, Cloud, Payments, Core platforms, Technology Processes.Strong experience in financial services risk-based functions or internal audit in professional services firms.Technical background in banking applications, core infrastructure platforms, 3 tier architecture or modern IT stack such as cloud, containers, and pipeline.Degree in Technology or other relevant tertiary and post-graduate qualifications with certifications such as CISA, CISM, CDPSE, CISSP.A diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyoneWe know that our people make us who we are.
