Your new company
One of Australia's largest fixed voice and data network is seeking an experienced Head of Attack and Respond.
Your new role Providing leadership to the Technology Security 'Red' Team, responsible for simulating attacks on our systems and identifying vulnerabilities.Providing leadership to the Technology Security 'Blue' Team, responsible for defending against attacks and improving our security posture.Managing the CSOC Team, which is responsible for monitoring our systems for security threats and responding to incidents.Managing our Incident Response Team, which is responsible for investigating and responding to security incidents.Identifying emerging threats and vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate actions to mitigate risks.Collating and developing reports for management containing key statistics surrounding incident management and resolution.Investigating the root cause of incidents and instigating actions to correct the situation.Ensuring all high impact incidents/requests follow standard escalation guidelines.Monitoring and managing the communication of major IT incidents to employees.Forming critical incident rapid response teams to alleviate system outages as quickly as possible.What you'll need to succeed A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.A minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.Experience leading and managing teams of cybersecurity professionals.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to adapt quickly, be a self-starter, work effectively with multiple groups, and follow issues through to resolution.Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to easily develop new relationships with both suppliers and colleagues.Ability to build high-performing teams, maintaining shape and effectiveness through change.Excellent budget management skills.Knowledge of automation and reporting tools.What you'll get in return Impact and Influence: As the head of cybersecurity, you will have a significant impact on protecting the organization's assets, data, and reputation, ensuring business continuity and customer trust.Professional Growth: The role offers continuous learning and professional development opportunities, including staying updated with the latest trends and certifications in cyber security.Initial contract till March with high chances of extension.What you need to do now
