You will oversee the monitoring, maintenance, and reporting activities to maximise asset uptime and deliver value to stakeholders, including customers, energy retailers, and investors.

It offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the renewable energy transition, contributing to NRN's mission of democratising access to affordable, sustainable energy solutions.Core focus areas of this role include:Developing an Asset Management PlanFleet monitoring and fault managementCase tracking and resolutionCoordination and oversight of field service activitiesPerformance reporting and stakeholder communicationAsset Management PlanDesign and implement a comprehensive plan to manage Distributed Energy Resource (DER) assets effectively across diverse geographical regions.Identify gaps and inefficiencies in the current approach to DER asset management.Define standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all asset management activities, including installation, maintenance, and decommissioning.Develop templates and documentation standards to ensure consistency across regions and teams.Fleet MonitoringIdentify, scope and implement industry-leading monitoring tools.Identify faults and underperformance issues in the NRN fleet of assets.Perform diagnostic analysis to provide insights for rapid rectification work.Liaise with OEM technical support and other experts to improve diagnostic accuracy.Track performance metrics of PV systems and batteries, ensuring deviations from expected performance are flagged immediately.Perform regular trend analysis on fleet data to identify underperforming assets or recurring issues.Provide feedback and guidance towards continuous improvements of monitoring tools.Case ManagementPrioritise, assign, and track case tickets to ensure timely resolution within established service level agreements (SLAs).Maintain up to date case notes to ensure accurate all communications, diagnostics and actions are captured.Provide feedback loops from resolved cases to stakeholders, incorporating lessons learned into the asset management strategy.Field Service ManagementMaintain relationships with field service providers, ensuring they meet NRN's quality and performance standards.Assist with rectification work, providing guidance and support to field service providers as required.Develop clear service protocols and expectations for field teams to follow during site visits.Monitor and manage service provider KPIs, such as response times, first-time fix rates, and customer satisfaction.Liaise with customers directly in a pro-active manner to provide an update on the performance or repairs of the assets installed.ReportingProvide real-time updates on key performance, quality and safety metrics to internal stakeholders and for external reporting.Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time visibility into fleet health and performance metrics.Track improvement trends on rectification timelines from issue start date to final close out.Provide insights into warranty claims, system failures, and fault type trend analysis.Skills & Experience RequiredProcess-driven thinking, with the ability to develop scalable processes and implement them in cross-functional teams.Understanding of safety and QA frameworks in the construction and energy sectors.Background in coordinating and managing field service activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.Experience in building asset management and customer support teams.Proficiency in using asset monitoring and management platforms, diagnostic tools, and data analysis software.Ability to develop and manage workflows for case management, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.Strong organisational skills to coordinate field service activities and ensure timely issue resolution.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, field service providers, OEM technicians, and internal teams.Analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.Capacity to prioritise tasks and make decisions under pressure to minimise downtime.Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and evolving responsibilities.Proficiency with MS Office tools, Salesforce, and other digital platforms used for asset and case management preferred.Understanding of solar PV and battery technology, including system performance monitoring, fault diagnostics, and maintenance requirements preferred.About NRNNational Renewable Network is an Australian based company on a mission to democratize access to renewable energy for households and businesses.
