Our client, a large industry-leading organisation with over 1,500 employees, is expanding its technology team and looking for an experienced Head of Applications to join them and help lead their digital transformation. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Technology, you'll manage a team of 15 developers across front-end, back-end, and cloud, with the opportunity to grow this team as the transformation evolves.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and expand a team of skilled developersCollaborate with the GM to shape the technology roadmap and future state of the applications department, driving the simplification and upgrade of older applications.Drive the delivery of the engineering team, staying close to the technology if needs be.Focus on delivering exceptional User Experience; mobile development experience is highly regardedContribute to fast-paced, large-scale digital transformationsAbout You:Strong .NET and Azure technical backgroundProven experience managing teams of 15+ engineersHands-on experience with either React or Angular, ideally with some mobile development experienceProactive, can-do attitude with experience in large-scale transformationsExperience managing and engaging with difficult stakeholdersConsulting background is a plus but not requiredIf you're an experienced manager with a passion for technology and transformation, we'd love to hear from you!
