We're hiring for a full-time Head Cook with IL Lago, to work for one of our Italian restaurants at The Links Shell Cove Golf Club.

MAIN TAKS: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to our high standards.
Ensure company recipes and preparation requirements are met.Manage food production and ensure that the dishes served are of high quality, that they comply with the Company's standards and specification, and delight our guests.Assist with menu design and development, including providing tasting sessions if required.Assist in stock management and ordering as needed.Ensure all food preparation and cooking is carried out in a safe and hygienic manner.Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.Monitor and comply with Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental practices.Supervise and train kitchen staff as required. Qualification and Skills: Cooking experience in a similar role for at least 3 yearsCatering qualificationKitchen workflow knowledgeModern and contemporary approach to cookingGreat knowledge of food and beverages and appreciation of the importance of food hygieneBe able to handle a large amount of orders under pressureDelivers company standardsPersonnel skillsTeam player
