Head Chef

JBS Hospitality are currently recruiting a Head Chef for The Dick Whittington in St Kilda East. We are seeking a passionate professional that is enthusiastic, energetic, organised and self-motivated. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in producing premium quality pub food & flare.
Reporting to the Executive Chef and supporting a kitchen team, you will be required to work a rotating roster over 7 days. This position offers a great opportunity for growth and career progression.
To be considered for the position you must possess the following: Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment Be responsible and reliable Ability to work autonomously A passion for quality and sustainable produce Maintain high and consistent standards of products Time management and organisational skills Stock control and reporting / wage control & rostering Primary responsibilities of this role will include: Supporting the team during peak service times Training and mentoring of junior staff Maintaining grace and professionalism under pressure Experience in a similar role will be looked upon highly.
