JRM is working with a well-known and respected hospitality group to find a Head Chef for one of their Brisbane locations in Fortitude Valley.Very popular locals' favorite, multi-level venue offering varied event spaces, private dining rooms, and casual dining.The venue has 3 kitchens: 1 main kitchen, a prep kitchen, and a satellite kitchen used mostly for sending functions and events.There's a solid team in place, plenty of support from management, and the group is renowned for having a great company culture.Salary is up to $110k + super and for high-performing candidates, a discretionary pay review based on performance.To be successful in the role you will have:Excellent time management and organisational skills; the outlet has multiple areas and these skills are essential to succeed.A solid understanding of current high-volume and gastro pub food trends and a creative flair for thinking outside the box.Previous experience in a similar role and sized venue with success in managing a medium-sized team of approx 10 chefs.Experience in managing food and labour costs, proficient in managing an efficient roster with evolving and changing business requirements.About the role:Manage a team of 8-10 chefs in a multi-outlet and multi-level kitchen.Work with the Executive Chef on menu development.
