We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our team at this esteemed Gold Coast Japanese Fusion restaurant.
The restaurant, located in the heart of Mermaid Beach, offers a traditional menu of izakaya food, sashimi, tempura, yakitori, and gyoza, all designed to be shared.
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
About the Role

Lead the team in menu development, introducing new and innovative dishes
Collaborate with the management to achieve business goals and objectives
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
Supervise and train junior chefs to ensure they meet expectations
Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
Proven track record of menu development and innovation
Strong leadership and team management skills
