Head Accountant

They are seeking an experienced Head Accountant to join the team and contribute to the ongoing success and expansion of the business.
What's in it for you: Competitive salary package ($90,000 - $110,000 + Super) Supportive work environment Opportunity to lead and grow a business Long-term and evolving position within a dynamic company Opportunities for professional growth and development Work life balance Hybrid working flexibility once established What you will do: Oversee and facilitate property transactions, ensuring accounting compliance and client satisfaction Oversee a small team Prepare financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs Manage rollovers, contributions, pensions, and lump sums for funds Ensure accurate record-keeping, processing and system management Reconcile all items on balance sheets and report abnormalities Perform key daily tasks to coincide with monthly reporting, including daily profit and loss reporting Prepare rolling forecasts and manage the finance functions Review and assess financial statements, identifying financial performance issues or crucial factors to consider Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the company CRM What you need: CA or CPA preferred Experience working in the same or similar roles Highly organised and able to identify potential risks and seek support where required.
High level of ownership and initiative to own results for a critical area of the business.
