To support our continued growth, we have the opportunity for Trade Qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanics/Fitters to join our teams in Queensland and Western Australia, on a full-time basis for a long-term maintenance contract.
These roles will be a 15:13 FIFO roster from any Australian Capital City with DIDO options also available, with a strong emphasis on applicants residing locally within the Chinchilla or Miles regions .
To successfully execute the role, you will require strong diesel mechanical knowledge with experience on Gas compression packages and Well Site assets, namely Waukesha and Caterpillar Gas Engines .
Knowledge and experience with Ariel Reciprocating Compressors will be an advantage.
The ability to multi-task and work autonomously will also be an advantage.
Rotating Equipment Technicians with experience in gas compression maintenance including operation, diagnostics, major overhaul, and servicing of Ariel Compressors, Waukesha Gas Engines, and Caterpillar Gas Engines.
15 days on 13 days off roster, travel in your first and last day of swing.
Permanent, ongoing position with competitive salary on offer.
Immediate start for Queensland roles , with rolling starts into next year for WA and other states as they develop.
Demonstrate a personal commitment towards all HSEQ policies and procedures.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Participate in Training (Internal / External) as requested, including providing updated certificates to Supervisor and Contract Admin.
Who do we want to hear from?
Demonstrated experience with Diesel Mechanical Components and Gas Compressor engines .
Minimum 3+ (3) years' experience post apprenticeship on HD Mechanical.
A willingness to gain exposure to calibrations and pressure testing.
Current Australian Drivers Licence (C, MR or HR).
Hold the following Nationally Accredited Qualifications or be willing to obtain post mobilisation: HRWL to include; LF Forklift, DG Dogging.
First Aid / CPR Training.
PMASUP236B Operate and Maintain a 4WD Vehicle.
MSMWHS217 Gas Test Atmospheres.
Ability to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
