Senior BA role for a leading Government Department covering a multi-year HCM program with a focus on SAP Successfactors and relevant modules.12 month contract with potential extension, paying up to $900 plus super per day, based in Sydney with WFH flexibility.Ideal skillset focused on extensive HCM implementation/transformation projects, specifically SAP Successfactors.Program context:
• The Human Capital Management (HCM) Program is a multi-year technology-enabled transformation program looking to simplify, streamline and transform key people management services across the department.
• The program will deliver functionality through several releases and a large multi-disciplinary team. The program is organised into 7 streams that report into the Program Director. The streams are: PMO, Delivery Management (including Testing), Commercial Management, Business Transformation, Change Management, Technical Management and Data Management.

Role description:
• Support the HCM Program as a Senior Business Analyst with the delivery of design, documentation, requirements gathering, process mapping, SuccessFactors solution design and implementation-related activities for all people management services in scope for the program, from first point of contact to final delivery of solutions, using a human-centered design approach.
• Work with SMEs and key stakeholders to understand and document the current people management services, key requirements and the way in which services are delivered to the department.
• Support the re-design of people management service aligned to the business transformation service design, associated business requirements and detailed business processes, bringing in the voice of the customer to identify opportunities to improve service quality and efficiency.
• Partnering with other members of the Business Transformation team, ensure the intent, direction and planned outcomes of the service designs are carried through all program implementation activities and release phases, including alignment and reinforcement across program streams.
• Support with the procurement process, working closely with the Business Transformation Director and Functional Lead to identify, evaluate, select and manage a supplier to deliver business and service transformation services to the program.
• Work collaboratively with the solution implementation partner to drive and deliver the transformational design, understand technology and system parameters that will help guide requirements and design engagements.
• Engage with the Functional Architect and the technical workstream to provide appropriate input to integration, data migration and technical specifications that will enable the service solutions.
• Provide support to the Change Management stream by inputting into business readiness, training and change adoption activities.
• Work closely with the Testing stream with user stories, test case development, testing and defect resolution.
Ideal characteristics for role:
• 10+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in service transformation projects in the HR domain and complex HR project management/delivery environment.
• Experience in HR/HCM transformation programs implementing with SAP SuccessFactors across Recruitment, Onboarding and EC modules.
• High attention to detail with strong documentation and stakeholder skills.
• Demonstrated experience in business requirements gathering and documentation, business process mapping using Signavio and creation of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Experience in a large public sector department.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, ambiguous context without the pre-established frameworks in place and focusing on delivering tailored, fit-for-purpose approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to switch between strategic thinking and hands-on delivery and support.
• Experience in the use of JIRA and Confluence (or equivalent) to manage requirements, risk, issues and other appropriate program specifications.
• Consulting experience is advantageous.
