Due to business growth and acquisition, we are seeking experienced HC or MC Live Bird Drivers for positions based out of Austral.
This role operates Sunday to Thursday, with rotating PM and Night shifts.
Drivers will be responsible for transporting live birds from Sydney to Beresfield, as well as making multi-drop deliveries across the Hunter region and Mangrove Mountain.
About You: Hold a current HC or MC LicenceFlexible with evening start times with 10 to 12-hour shiftsPreferably have Road Ranger experienceForklift licence is a plus, but not essentialAble to complete transport runs between Mangrove Mountain, Goulburn, and Sydney/ReturnUnderstanding of fatigue and mass management guidelinesTeam player with the ability to work independentlySafe driving history with a clean RMS recordDesirable: Experience in the poultry industry, Auto transmission experience, though experience with an 18-speed Road Ranger gearbox would be an advantage.What We Offer: Immediate startAccess to modern, reliable vehiclesAttractive pay rates and flexibilityOpportunities for further training across all operationsAdditional Requirement:Due to quarantine procedures, successful applicants must not have live poultry, avian species, or pigs at their place of residence.
