What You Will Be Doing: Manage the performance of individual crew members by understanding their strengths, finding ways to motivate them, and offering coaching to help them improve positively.Provide support to team members, ensuring they have the tools and resources they need to perform their best work. You will guide your team throughout the day, working with the farm logistics team to allow smooth and efficient harvesting.Share daily reports with the management team about the performance of your crew compared to the KPIs.Be responsible for the health, safety and welfare of the crew – this is a priority for Costa, and we are looking for people who value the same importance as we do.About You: Previous experience leading people is a plus but not essential.Clear, open, and honest communication with everyone.Embrace cultural diversity and be comfortable working with multicultural teams.Be dedicated to lead and motivate your team to meet their performance indicators (KPIs), maintaining a positive attitude even under pressure.Be committed to identifying areas for improvement in processes to enhance overall performance.Have strong organizational skills to manage tasks effectively.Have your own vehicle and driver's license - Please note Costa does NOT provide transport or accommodation.Our company is seasonal, with fluctuating daily work. It is essential that you can work a flexible roster, including weekends. Start times are typically early, and the hours can vary depending on the weather, volume of fruit, and other factors.This is your chance to step up into a leadership position in a dynamic and demanding role that will enable you to be part of a close-knit, high-performing team.
