Harbour Early Learning Aranda is a state-of-the-art, recently completed purpose-built early childhood centre, nestled in Bindel Street Aranda. We are seeking experienced and motivated Certificate 3 and Diploma qualified educators to join a professional and dedicated team of Early Childhood Teachers and Educators. The position is full time 38 hrs, 5 days (Monday to Friday). You will have the privilege of working with like-minded collaborative practitioners who are setting a new benchmark for early learning.
Qualifications & Experience Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training, or willingness to obtain.Current Child Protection training or willingness to obtain.Current working with Vulnerable People Card.Clear National Police Check.Australian citizen or permanent residents are encouraged to apply.Previous experience working with children aged Birth to 5 years.Genuine willingness to work with any age groups (including Birth to 2 years).Sound computer literacy skills related to documentation and program planning.Demonstrated understanding of current education and care legislation regulations and guidelines.High level interpersonal skills, demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability.Effective implementation of theory and research-based pedagogy. Tasks & Responsibilities Create an environment that acknowledges and encourages each child's agency and participation.Facilitate and document learning opportunities founded on children's ideas, interests, and inquiry.Work collaboratively with a team of qualified professionals.Develop and maintain positive and welcoming relationships with families.Follow centre's philosophy, policies and procedures.
