About the role: Maintenance of this luxury hotel is conducted 7 days a week and our team of Handypersons work on a rotating basis to ensure the hotel is kept in perfect condition and our guests needs are met and exceeded.
In this position we are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a professional environment, has great customer service skills, high operating standards and enjoys being "hands on" by utilising their exceptional eye for detail.
This position is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the Hotel and its facilities.
What you will do: Attend to guest room work requests and perform minor carpentry, plumbing, fitting, painting and general maintenance work especially in guest rooms and front of house areas Act as an assistant to the Shift Engineer, Painter, Electrician, Fitter and Carpenter as required Conducts preventative maintenance in guest rooms and on equipment assigned to them from the maintenance schedule Perform routine maintenance, clean filters, pumps, chlorinators, robot cleaners and heat pumps for the swimming pool as per quality standards Test and balance dosing systems for the pool and jacuzzi and keep inventory levels What you will bring: Previous or current experience in a handyperson or maintenance role with good all round trade skills, preferably within a large hotel or residential building The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with people at all levels, across all areas, including contractors, suppliers, guests and of course our employees A passion for providing a great guest experience and impeccable product Solid verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills Strong multi-tasking ability What we offer: Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package Excellent Training and Development opportunities Complimentary Accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms Complimentary Employee Meals If you fit the above criteria, we look forward to receiving your application!
