Handy Man / Maintenance Person

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and hardworking Handy Man / Maintenance Person to join The Lyall and The Royce boutique hotels on a full-time basis, working Tuesday to Saturday.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is accountable for undertaking the painting, maintenance of all guest rooms public areas, and back of house of the property.
This position is perfect for someone who can do a bit or a lot of everything. 
Some of the key responsibilities include:  Undertake maintenance tasks such as but not limited to; general carpentry, plaster repairs and painting, door maintenance, tiling and other general maintenance. Maintain regular communication with the general manager regarding all maintenance works.To be considered, you should possess:  Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role is highly regarded.   Exceptional time management skills.Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with guests and colleagues in a positive and professional manner.Competitive remuneration package and good conditions relevant to experience and ability.
