Hairdressing Trainer & Assessor Part time position $40.41 p/h & 3 days Classroom based Company phone and tablet provided Deliver training to various student cohorts Skillinvest is a not-for-profit Group Training & Registered Training Organisation delivering training in many Industry sectors. Skillinvest is seeking a Part Time Hairdressing Trainer and Assessor to join our team based in Geelong. The successful applicant is required to deliver training and assess a range of student cohorts, including but not limited to Apprentices and VETiS students. Delivery modes are 'classroom based' training models. Duties include: Prepare and deliver high quality training and assessment to students Adjust/develop flexible teaching and learning strategies to best support students individual learning needs Create flexible assessment tools according to Workplace conditions and Training Package standards Maintain currency of knowledge in relevant training packages and vocational industry Develop strong relationships with students, staff, schools and other stakeholders Requirements: Trade Qualified Hairdresser Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Hairdressing industry TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) Current Employee Working with Children Check and Police Check Strong customer focus & willingness to work as part of a growing team Adaptable and able to work in fast-paced environment This is a great opportunity to join a committed team and share your valuable industry knowledge and experiences with students keen to pursue a career in Hairdressing.
