This is a newly created opportunity reporting to the H&S Lead AU.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain and monitor HSE risk registers and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards. Prepare and manage various HSE documents including tender information, procedures, HSE Management Plans, and reports. Compile and deliver monthly HSE reports detailing performance and compliance metrics. Create and disseminate health and safety alerts to communicate critical information to the business. Ensure adherence to government regulations, legal requirements, and ethical standards in quality assurance. Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to staff, aligning with company values. Develop and deliver content for health and safety inductions for employees and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Communicate and consult with workers to foster a healthy, safe workplace culture and reporting environment. Maintain and manage emergency response procedures and protocols specific to Australia. Work closely with Australian Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) to facilitate H&S related improvements. Record HSE inspections and audit findings, reporting on safe work practices and recommending improvements. Observe infield installations to ensure compliance with safety requirements and risk control measures. Manage entries into the company's incident management systems for Bluecurrent and FSPs. Oversee wellness and fitness-to-work programs, including managing work-related injuries, medical conditions, drug & alcohol testing, rehabilitation, and fatigue management. Who we are looking for: You will have at least 3 years of experience in a role with health and safety responsibilities, with experience in risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies.
You will have effective written and oral communication skills with a high level of reporting accuracy and the ability to negotiate, develop, and manage cooperative working relationships.
You will have strong attention to detail and a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications in Health and Safety are desirable.
