Full Job Description We are in search of a committed and skilled individual to join our Gymnastics academy as a Gymsport Coach. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in conducting top-tier coaching sessions, setting a positive example, and motivating athletes to excel in their development and performance. Fostering a supportive and cooperative team atmosphere is paramount, along with the ability to assess athletes' progress and adapt coaching methods accordingly.
The perfect candidate will actively engage in ongoing professional development activities and meetings to stay abreast of the latest coaching methodologies and techniques. Collaborating effectively within a team is essential, as is demonstrating strong organizational and administrative proficiencies. Furthermore, aiding in the expansion and visibility of our gymnastics academy within the college and broader community is a key component of this position.

Position Requirements:
Experience in Gymsports environments. Gymsports coaching qualifications or willingness to obtain them. Establishment of cooperative and supportive relationships with staff, students, and parents. Commitment to personal best practice. Decision-making based on factual information and impartiality. Adherence to appropriate channels of communication. Alignment of actions with the best interests of the College and its ethos. Possession of a current Working with Children Check (WWCC). Contribution to a safe and healthy workplace by following WH&S instructions and policies, reporting accidents and hazards, and ensuring the safety of oneself and others. Essential Criteria:
To accept the College's Statement of Faith. Build co-operative and supportive relationships with the board, principal, staff, students and parents. Work to ensure personal best practice. Ensure that decision making is based on fact and is impartial and fair. Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication. Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos. Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC. First Aid certificate. Working With Children Card.
