YMCA South Australia is seeking a Program Director to join us at our new premier gymnastics facility that will be opening soon in Gepps Cross, South Australia. You have an opportunity to help YMCA Gymnastics shape our new program. At State Sports Park Gymnastics we will offer a variety of gymsport programs, suitable for all ages and ability levels. This opportunity presents itself as a way to work as part of a large organisation that invests in its employees, with ongoing training and opportunities for professional advancement.
We are looking for someone who creates a friendly, inviting work atmosphere that is driven, hardworking, goal orientated and demonstrates the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The successful applicant will provide leadership and direction to all coaching staff within the facility. Sound planning, reporting, marketing, and communication skills are essential to this role.
As the Program Director at YMCA South Australia, you will be committed to quality customer service, safety, and the pursuits of excellence in the gymnastics space. You will be efficient in your communication and response ensuring the Y achieves its mission and vision while continuing to build Y's reputation as the leading recreation operator in South Australia.
As the Program Director, you will, but not limited to:
Provide leadership and support to the coaching and customer care staff.
Lead a culture of continual change to meet the changing internal and external environment.
Ensure the Gymnastics Centre is supervised in a reliable, safe, professional, and friendly manner and is programmed for maximum occupancy and efficiency during hours of operation.
Be responsible for the performance of the Gymnastics Centre including but not limited to: public relations and marketing; quality assurance and customer service; organisational compliance to policies and procedures.
Ensure program best practise is implemented and adhered to.
Complete End of Month reports and organisation financial processes including fortnightly employee timesheet approval, and KPI reporting.
This role is offered full-time (38 hours per week).

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
(HLTAID003) Provide First Aid or equivalent
(HLTAID001) Provide CPR or equivalent
Gymnastics Coaching Accreditation - Gymnastics Australia
Certificate of completion for "Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect" (RRHAN-EC) training
Excellent interpersonal skills and highly developed communication skills
Proven capability to build strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders
