About the role Come and join the GV Health Rural Allied Health Team (RAHT), a team with a well renowned supportive workplace culture with an opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced Allied Health Professionals.If you are a dynamic and innovative Allied Health Professional this position could be ideal for you. You could be an experienced leader or perhaps looking to take your first step into a leadership role.
The RAHT is an established and progressive multi-disciplinary team which includes Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work and Speech Pathology services. The team assists people with a disability and older frail people and their carers, providing interventions in predominately home based settings, making a true difference to our clients independence and well-being.
The RAHT works from a multipurpose community based facility in the CBD of Shepparton with access to a modern well equipped clinical space, fleet vehicles, laptops, smart phones and remote Internet access to assist in the delivery of services within home and community settings.
The Team Leader & Quality Co-ordinator will provide various support functions within the RAHT including:
Managing a small case loadSupport the day to day operations of the teamCo-ordination and support of the intake of referralsMonitoring team key performance indicatorsSupporting human resource functions and staff developmentSupporting quality initatives and service development and continuous quality improvementEnsuring the delivery of services is in accordance with the CHSP, HACC PYP and NDIS program guidelinesThe position will also make an active contribution to the ongoing development of the RAHT including involvement in quality reviews and accreditation processes and you have the chance to join the team at an exciting time as we review our service models and implement the Support at Home reforms.
You will report to the Rural Allied Health Team Program Manager whilst providing high quality health services, consistent with your professional body code of ethics and practice standards. A comprehensive orientation program is available.
We are looking for a Team Leader & Quality Co-ordinator who: Current registration with the AHPRA, where required.Has experience in the delivery of Allied Health Services within home, group and community settings to consumers with complex presentations, inclusive of complex health conditions, memory impairment, cultural and diverse backgrounds.Is self-motivated and self-directed with a high level of communication, organisational and time management skills.Has experience in undertaking projects, continuous quality improvement initiatives and accreditation processes.Has an ability to demonstrate sound leadership and work both independently and as a member of a team.Holds a current motor vehicle licenceWhen completing your application you are required to upload a copy of your qualification(s) and provide a response to the key selection criteria located within the position description.
