Our client, a large financial institution, is requiring the unique skills of a Guidewire Tester. You will be responsible for testing Guidewire applications to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards. You will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
Essential Responsibilities Test Planning and Strategy:Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire applications.Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test strategies.Functional Testing:Perform functional testing of Guidewire applications.Validate that applications meet specified requirements and perform as expected.Automation and Regression Testing:Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Guidewire applications using appropriate testing tools.Conduct regression testing to ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.Defect Management:Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools.Work with development teams to diagnose and resolve defects in a timely manner.Performance and Load Testing:Conduct performance and load testing to ensure that Guidewire applications can handle expected volumes and perform efficiently under load.Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.Desirable Responsibilities Proven experience as a tester with a focus on Guidewire applications.Strong understanding of Guidewire software and its modules.Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or other relevant automation tools.To be considered for the role, click the 'apply' button.
