Guidance Officer - Sarina State School (0.9 FTE)Education (Organisation site)Central Queensland Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance DivisionSarina State School is seeking applications for a dedicated and experienced Guidance Officer to join their school community on a temporary part-time basis, at 0.9 FTE and 45 hours per fortnight, from 23 January 2025 until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.Within this role, you will have the opportunity to provide professional expertise, leadership, and support to school communities and networks in the development and implementation of plans, programs, and procedures to assist students in achieving positive educational, developmental, and lifelong learning outcomes.

Fifteen years later, in 1912, this school became known as Sarina State School.
Sarina is a small, rural, coastal town supported by industries including sugar, coal, beef, fishing, railways, and a small commercial sector.
